Built for the packing station

Faster reloads. Zero jams.

Roll labels curl, snag on spindles, and force you to open the printer mid-batch. FanFold stacks flat behind your printer — the next label is always ready.

Lay-flat stack

Sits behind your printer with no spindle, no curl. Take any label off the top without re-feeding.

Reload in seconds

Drop a fresh stack on top of the current one. No spindle to unmount, no roll to seat — just keep printing.

Smudge-proof coating

Resists scratches, water, and oil. Barcodes stay crisp from your dock door to the customer's porch.

Stacks flat on the shelf

Rectangular packs are easy to inventory and store. No round rolls to lose under the pack bench.

Format

Fan-Fold — labels stack flat behind the printer in a perforated, accordion-folded pack. No spindle, no roll core.

Label size

4" × 6" — the USPS, UPS, and FedEx standard shipping label size.

Material

Direct thermal — no ink, no toner. The label darkens when heat is applied by the printhead.

Coating

Top-coated for scratch, water, and oil resistance. Barcodes remain scannable through normal shipping handling.

Adhesive

Permanent acrylic — bonds quickly and holds on corrugate, poly mailers, and bubble mailers. Works in standard warehouse temperatures (40°F–104°F).

Perforation

Clean tear between each label — easy to separate by hand, won't pre-tear in transit.

Platform integration

Optimized for ShipStation. In your account, set paper size to 4" × 6" — that's it.

Proudly made in the USA.

FAQ

Questions from warehouse buyers

Will the adhesive hold in cold storage or unheated warehouses?

Yes, in normal warehouse conditions. Our permanent acrylic adhesive performs reliably between 40°F and 104°F. For cold-chain shipping (refrigerated or frozen), apply the label to dry, clean surfaces at room temperature before transferring to cold storage — the bond cures fastest above 50°F.

Are the barcodes scratch and smudge resistant?

The top-coat resists scratches, water spray, and oil. We've tested barcodes after 30+ days of standard shipping handling and they remain scannable. For extreme conditions (outdoor storage, wet environments), we recommend pairing with a clear poly mailer or a label protector.

Can I return labels if they don't work with my printer?

Yes — even on consumables. We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase, no restocking fee. The fastest path: use the compatibility checker above before ordering. If anything goes wrong, email supplies@shipstation.com and we'll make it right.

Do you offer bulk or contract pricing for high-volume warehouses?

Yes. The 4,000-pack already gets you to a low cost per label, but if you're shipping 10,000+ labels a month and want quarterly POs or a custom SKU, request a quote on our Bulk Order Portal or email supplies@shipstation.com. Most quotes come back within one business day.

How is FanFold different from a roll of the same labels?

Same label size, same adhesive, same thermal print quality. The difference is the format: rolls require a spindle, retain a curl that can cause printer jams, and roll around your packing station. FanFold stacks flat, reloads in seconds, and lies perfectly flat on every package — which matters when scanners need to read the barcode at the carrier hub.

Can I set up a recurring subscription so I never run out?

Yes — toggle Subscribe & save in the buy box to lock in a 10% discount and choose your delivery cadence (30, 60, 90, or 120 days). Powered by Recharge, so you can skip, swap, or cancel anytime from your account dashboard. For most warehouses shipping ~800 packages/month, every 60 days on the 2,000-pack is the sweet spot.
